As part of its ongoing efforts to enhance administrative efficiency and promote digital transformation, the Human Resources Unit at the College of Law, University of Al-Qadisiyah, in cooperation with the Electronic Computing Center at the University Presidency, organized a scientific workshop entitled:
“Human Resource Management System (HRMS)”, with the participation of members of the committee responsible for implementing the system.

Workshop Speakers:

• Asst. Lecturer Mohammed Thamer Ali – Program Director at the University Presidency
• Mr. Mohammed Jalil Alwan – Director of the HR Unit at the College / Program Manager

Workshop Topics:

The workshop focused on a detailed explanation of how the HRMS operates, including how to input and upload data for college staff, track updates, and ensure data integrity. The speakers emphasized the responsibilities of each committee member and highlighted the importance of adhering to technical and administrative guidelines issued by the Computing Center.

Findings and Conclusions:
• The workshop concluded that the successful implementation of the HRMS depends heavily on effective coordination between the college and the University Computing Center, as well as users’ awareness of their duties within the system.
• Several technical and administrative challenges were identified during the implementation process, and practical solutions were discussed.
• It was noted that there are varying levels of technical expertise among committee members, indicating the need for additional support and capacity-building programs.

Recommendations:
1. Develop an intensive and continuous training plan for committee members and HR staff to ensure a comprehensive understanding of the system and its updates.
2. Establish a permanent technical support team within the college to address technical issues promptly.
3. Standardize the use of the HRMS across all departments and units, and appoint liaison officers in each unit to ensure accurate data entry.
4. Create and distribute user-friendly procedural manuals explaining the correct use of the system.
5. Maintain regular communication with the University’s Computing Center to address any updates or technical issues through official correspondence.
6. Implement a phased timeline for completing all data uploads, along with periodic progress reports to be submitted to the college administration.
7. Propose the integration of automated notifications within the system to remind users of deadlines and administrative tasks.
8. Designate an official email or quick-response channel for direct contact with the University’s program coordinator, Asst. Lecturer Mohammed Thamer Ali, to ensure timely technical support.
9. Conduct periodic evaluations of system performance and user engagement, with analytical reports submitted to college leadership for ongoing improvement.

This workshop is part of the college’s broader initiative to achieve intelligent human resource management, aligned with quality assurance principles and the Ministry of Higher Education’s vision for digital transformation.
