As part of its ongoing academic engagement and scientific cooperation with legal institutions and regional and international arbitration centers, and within the strategic framework of the College of Law – University of Al-Qadisiyah to enhance the academic and research capacities of its faculty members, Professor Asaad Fadel Mandil, a lecturer at the College, participated in the Egyptian Arbitration Days organized by the Cairo Regional Centre for International Commercial Arbitration (CRCICA) in Cairo, Arab Republic of Egypt.
The three-day program featured specialized academic training and discussions focusing on the Egyptian experience in commercial arbitration, marking three decades since the enactment of the Egyptian Arbitration Law.

The sessions provided an analytical review of Egypt’s arbitration experience and addressed key technical challenges facing arbitral proceedings, particularly the integration of artificial intelligence technologies in conducting arbitration procedures and drafting arbitral awards. The speakers emphasized the need for modern legislative frameworks to address these challenges and facilitate the growth of arbitration tourism in Arab countries, encouraging regional centers to attract international disputes.

The workshops also explored modern approaches to promoting arbitration culture in Arab societies, highlighting innovative initiatives such as student competitions and inter-university moot contests in various fields of arbitration — commercial, civil, and investment — to deepen students’ legal and practical understanding of arbitration mechanisms. The speakers further stressed the importance of benefiting from Egypt’s pioneering role in the Arab arbitration landscape as a model to guide legislative reform in other regional states.

This participation comes within the strategic program of the College of Law – University of Al-Qadisiyah to send faculty members to leading international legal and academic institutions, as part of its global partnerships aimed at strengthening scientific cooperation, enhancing academic skills, and ensuring continuous exposure of its faculty to the latest international legal developments.
The College had previously implemented this strategy by sending two faculty members to Cardiff University and four faculty members to the University of Liverpool in the United Kingdom, as part of its academic collaboration and joint research training initiatives with distinguished British universities.
